So many words in so many languages all across this beautiful globe that God has created. Each person walks a different path and yet have so many similarities. Take a walk anywhere. I mean it. The Grocery store, the park, church, the mall, absolutely anywhere your feet can take you and just sit and look around. Every person that passes you has a story, a past, a present and most importantly, a future. We never know how long we have before the future is here, but we know one thing for certain, the future can never be touched, because when you reach a point in time years ahead, you will then have a NEW path ahead of you.
Fear is such a tiny word and yet haunts so many of us. Each day we walk in fear of the unknown, fear of the future, fear of the clear plan God has laid out for us. One tiny four letter word can blind us to what is right in front of us because we are staring so far down our future path that we forget to see the beautiful things God has placed right before our eyes.
Such a tiny word, and yet we let it take on such a HUGE part of our lives. God tells us:
Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs, and don’t forget to thank Him for His answers. If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will keep your thoughts and your hearts quiet and at rest as you trust in Christ.Philippians 4:6-7
Pray is also a four letter word…
If we prayed as much as we let our minds and souls wreak havoc on our lives through fear, maybe we would find that ever-loving peace instilled inside of us. God wants us to lean on him so he can quiet our hearts and minds.
Four Letter words, So tiny and yet so powerful.
Which little word are you going to let impact your life?
I am leaving you with a gift – peace of mind and heart! And the peace I give isn’t fragile like the peace the world gives. So don’t be troubled or afraid.John 14:27
Open up your hearts to the Gift of God. He will fill it with amazing and never failing grace and one last very important four letter word…
One that is used so freely nowadays yet holds the greatest meaning…
Let the love of our Father bless our hearts today and take away our fears and ease our struggles. Lord I ask that anyone out there who is in need of a little (or a lot) reassurance or is weighted down with fears of the unknown… that you touch their hearts and ease their pain and light their way.
